In an effort to gain recognition within the Tuscaloosa community, as well as serve a larger population, Forza Financial hosted its first annual business plan competition for local high school students in April 2017. The event served as an educational opportunity to future entrepreneurs, as well as an initiative to spread the word about the company and its mission.

We asked students to submit a formal business plan, based on the outline we created (attached below), and give a live pitch about a hypothetical business idea of their own creation. We hosted another similar event in 2018 and plan to build off this momentum with a third annual competition in 2019.
